Senior Designer (freelance or contract base)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer with a strong design sensibility, excellent leadership capabilities, and a proactive mindset. This role involves overseeing the design process, managing project teams, and ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
•Lead the design process and oversee project development, ensuring alignment with DAB Studio's aesthetic vision.
•Manage communication with clients, contractors, and collaborators throughout the project lifecycle.
•Supervise project planning and budget to deliver high-quality results.
•Perform final checks and optimizations on (technical) drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Skills and Qualifications
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Minimum of 5 years in high-end residential design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills to manage the design development and execution.

Interior Architecture and Design intern

Start date: January 2025
Duration internship: Minimum 6 months
Eligibility: Must hold an EU residence permit
Qualifications: Enrolled in or recently graduated from an Architecture or Interior Design program

Skills and Attributes:
• Creative thinker with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Competent in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Experienced in creating detailed drawings and elevations.
• Familiar with materials, techniques, and finishes.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently on multiple projects.
• Preferably Dutch-speaking and fluent in English (both spoken and written).
